How we work

• Plain English. We explain what we found and what it means, and you can ask as many questions as you need.
• Your prescription is yours. You get it after every eye test and can use it anywhere (NHS).
• NHS rules, applied properly. If you qualify for a free NHS eye test or optical voucher, we make sure you get it.
• Registered professionals. Eye tests are carried out by optometrists registered with the General Optical Council, who keep a public register you can check.
• Honest about urgent care. We’re not an urgent eye care provider, and we say so. Our urgent eye care page explains where to go.
